Welcome to WLYC

The Wolf Lake Yacht Club was founded in 1939, the clubhouse and marina are located on the northeastern shore of Big Wolf Lake, about five miles south of the Village of Grass Lake in eastern Jackson County, Michigan. This family oriented club is open year round with sailing, boating and social activities. The club hosts sailing fleets in the snipe and sunfish classes with scheduled club races on Thursday nights starting at 6:00pm and Sundays starting at noon, May through September. Several class regattas are planned each year and are open to non-members. Social activites throughout the year add to the warm friendly atmosphere at the club. • March 2, 6:00pm - Swiss Steak Dinner, including baked potato, corn and rolls, all members and friends are invited. Donation $5 appreciated.
• March 12, 7:30pm - Board Meeting
• March 13, 7:00pm - Euchre Night

• March 20, 6:00pm - Chili Cook-off -
  • Bring a pot of Chili or Soup and vote for your favorite. A prize will be awarded for the best Soup or Chili (Enter your favorite Soup or Chili recipe.). Plus we provide toppings like cheese, onions, and crackers. Garlic bread will also be available. Also bring your best Chocolate dessert for a chance to win a prize! Enter your dessert to hold the Sweet Tooth Award. All this for $5.00 per person/Children Free. We will also have a Silent Auction and 50/50 drawing. Hosted by: Bill and Marcia Walker

• April 15-17 - Annual WLYC Garage Sale - Items that went well last included children’s clothes, toys, holiday decorations. Everything really! Items can be dropped off at the club anytime after the chili cook-off March 20th (help still needed) .
